Forest School

Forest School

Forest School is an inspirational process that offers all children regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. Forest School is a specialised learning approach that sits within and compliments the wider context of outdoor and woodland education.

When do your children take part

Your child will take part in a 1 hour session every week.

The sessions will run on the following afternoons:

  • Tuesday – Year 4 and 5
  • Wednesday – Year 3 and 6

What do your children need to wear

Your child will need to bring in the following for each Forest School session:

  • Change of clothes: e.g. joggers/leggings and a warm fleece or jumper.
  • Waterproof coat and wellies

We have a supply of wellies and waterproofs we can lend your child if required.
